Smart Detector is an intelligent detector developed by a group of physicists, headed by Aleksandr Nikolaevich Zaharov in the 80s. At the time, the Smart Detector was a highly secret unit used by Russian Intelligence Services to identify and counter foreign espionage activity.

At the end of the Cold War, certain parts of the detector device were made public. This is an iPhone application that has some of the detectors public parts, such as:

Love Detector


This application is very easy to use:

Turn on the detector by pressing the switch.
Choose your target and slowly turn the iPhone/iPod to the horizontal position.
